Join the Canine Search & Recovery (CSAR) community for one of the most respected SAR K9 training weeks in the country, hosted this year by Uwharrie Search Dogs at Camp Walter Johnson in Denton, North Carolina. The seminar brings together search and rescue handlers from across the region for four full days of hands-on instruction (Monday through Thursday) led by experienced CSAR instructors, all in an immersive camp setting.
Classes and lectures include Trailing, Air Scent, Land HRD, and Water HRD, with a CGC testing opportunity and evening lectures rounding out the program. The all-inclusive format covers four full days of instruction, meals from Sunday evening through Friday morning, and on-site accommodations, so teams can focus entirely on training and connection. Companions and observers are welcome at a reduced rate.
