Details

The 2026 Canadian Police Canine Association (CPCA) Dog Trials, hosted by the Saskatoon Police Service K9 unit, gather Canada's police service dog teams for several days of competition and certification. The trials represent a key benchmark for Canadian police K9 work, testing teams across patrol and detection disciplines under standardized evaluation.

Handlers and dogs compete through obedience, agility, search, and apprehension phases, demonstrating the operational readiness that defines a strong police K9 team. Beyond the competition, the trials offer Canadian and visiting handlers a valuable opportunity to network, share techniques, and learn from one another.
