Details

This regional SAR K9 training event supports search and rescue teams developing across the core operational disciplines used in both wilderness and urban environments. The program addresses trailing (on-lead, scent-specific ground tracking), air scent area search (off-lead coverage of large wilderness areas), and Human Remains Detection.

Handlers work their dogs through realistic scenarios that mirror actual deployments, building the versatility that effective SAR teams need. Instruction is geared toward practical operational readiness, helping teams strengthen the skills that matter most when they are called to help someone on their worst day.
