The SFD / Ark-La-Tex K9 SAR seminar gives search and rescue teams from across the Ark-La-Tex region and beyond a focused training experience at the Scottsville Camp and Conference Center. Classes are deliberately limited to preserve a strong instructor-to-student ratio, maximizing each handler's time with the instructors and the quality of feedback.

Disciplines include Trailing and Human Remains Detection, including the specialized Water HRD track. Seminar costs include on-site meals, sack lunches in the field, and bunkroom lodging, with cabin and RV options available.
