The United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) National Field Trial is the most prestigious police K9 competition in the United States, drawing the highest-scoring patrol and detection teams from USPCA regions nationwide. Registration and meetings begin Sunday, September 20, with the trial running through the week and concluding with the awards banquet.
Teams compete across the USPCA's rigorous point-scored events including obedience, agility, total search, and apprehension, evaluated by panels of nationally certified judges. Since 1971 these certifications have set the standard for police canine work in the field and the courtroom. Beyond the competition, the National is a week of networking, vendor displays, and shared learning among the finest K9 teams protecting America.
